Registry
This service enables
Israeli citizens residing abroad to apply for documents that appear in the
Population Registry
Conditions for
receiving the service
· This service is provided to Israeli citizens,
former Israeli citizens, and foreign nationals who wish to obtain documents
that appear in the Population Registry for themselves, for their children under
18 years of age, or for first-degree relatives.
· Applicants who are not first-degree relatives
of those for whom they are requesting the service must attach a letter
containing the reasons for the application, or a power of attorney.
Please Note
Documents issued by Israeli government ministries and
authorities that are intended for countries that are signatories to the Hague
Convention require an apostille stamp. In such cases, the appropriate fee will
be charged.
If you need an apostille stamp on the certificate, please add a note on the application form. If the application does not indicate the need for an apostille the certificate will be issued without it.

until the latest movement. If you need earlier dates, this must be indicated on

The service is

*A Population Registry
extract contains the following information:
· ID number.
· Full name.
· Parents’ names.
· Date and place of birth.
· Date of immigration to Israel (Aliya).
· Citizenship.
· Marital status.
· Address.
An expanded population registry extract also contains the
following:
· Previous names.
· Names and dates of birth of their children.
· Names and date of birth of their spouse(s) and
parents.
· Previous addresses.
· Dates of marriage, divorce, or widowhood.
· Religion and ethnicity.
